Resistance to Your Heart Is Holding Back Your Desired Life.

The sky was coming down on me.

There I lay,

thrown out on the cold, damp grass…

Staring up into the heavens,

the full moon casting its light  down on me as though it was encouraging my breakdown.

I felt the earth beneath my body,

firm and cold to my plea,

my plea of not being enough.

This life that I have created,

this life that I love so deeply,

with all of its souls,

all the adventure,

all of the beauty.

Many days I feel that I am not good enough for this life.

I question why God has been so good to me?

Why do I keep reaping blessings,

why do people share such deep love with me,

Why do they value me so?

Don’t they see…

Don’t they see the human that I am.

The girl who still feels that she is not enough.

That pigeon toed wallflower who is lost in this thing called life?

Don’t they see that I fear myself.

I fear my messages.

I fear the spirit that moves through me,

that provides me such intensity at times.

I fear my heart.

That it may be wrong in its judgement,

it may guide me to loss and pain.

I fear that it was my heart that caused all of the pain,

and I know differently.

I know that the pain,

the sorrow,

is all based in my desire to control the outcome of my life.

I know that my heart which speaks from the place of deep understanding of soul,

never missguides.

It does not judge.

It knows.

It knows it truth,

and it just asks that I listen.

But I find on some days I cannot hear it for all the chaos that this beautiful life of mine has in it.

I cannot make out who I am on some days,

for who I am trying to be for everyone else.

And in this,

I become lost.

Just as you.

I snuggle into my humanness,

and I hold myself strong to the course that my head,

that my ego and all of society would tell me to be right and true.

And then in my final moments,

before I LET GO….

I find myself fighting to not drop to my knees,

to not lean in to this call.

This call that is so overpowering,

so enticing and juicy.

This call that I know if I let it pull me will guide me to all that I have wanted.

But I resist just a moment more.

I harden myself to all that I feel,

I toughen up like I have been told,

and I smile though I want to weep.

I say yes when I should say no.

I resist my truth yet some more.

As though it is helping me.

As though this will make me happy,

and solve my worlds problems.

Oh how funny we humans are.

How silly we are to run from all that we want,

all the while claiming we are pushing toward it.

We can not see our path,

as it lays out with each blind step that we take,

we cannot see it,

but if we learn to LET GO,

we can feel it.

It moves through us,

it moves us with each breath,

and those who choose to drop to their knees,

to lean into the call,

and allow our hearts to be seen,

if only for that flicker in time,

we grasp vision from the heavens above,

and we move.

Softly.

Gracefully.

In love.

We move.

But what you may not want to see,

is the mess,

the mess of this dropping.

The mess of letting go,

it may appear that one is falling apart,

trembling and lost more than ever before,

but this is a moment of expansion.

And a moment of revealing.

A moment where the heart leads.

There are no breakdowns,

only breakthroughs.

But we must allow them to be seen.

As we allow our hearts the same,

and through this process of shattering,

we transform who we are into who we were born to be.

BREATHE.

((Don’t Dry F-ck Your Woman’s Emotions – Rare Is The Man Who Understands This))

Dry F-cking My Emotion’s.
This is the statement of today that resonates it’s eerie truth about my heart and soul. And if it lingers and speaks to me,
I am sure that it will call to many others as well.

((The Depths Of The Goddess Can Only Be Revealed In Trust – Rare Is The Man Who Understands This))

We open ourselves up,
full body, mind and soul.
We awaken in beauty,
ready to receive love and be love,
and we long to dance.
We want to be breathless in the arms of our lover.
We want to be carried away.
At a woman’s core,
there is something that know’s that it wants her lover to take her.
Take her not in some dominant fashion of control.
But take her into her depths,
where she can open,
surrender and devour life more fully.
We know that we have this inside of us.
We feel our passion,
our truth,
our goddesshood,
but to fully tap in we must venture out into the seas of the unknown.
We must trust.
We must be willing to expand,
reveal and surrender.
These waters that we must dive into allow our true beauty to be seen and felt,
are filled with emotion,
filled with desire,
filled with our dreams, hopes and fears.
These are the waters of vulnerability.
Where a woman can only venture when she fully trusts at a deep level her lover and herself.

However, when she does expand into these pools of deep soul and reveal herself she offers more than just a vision of ecstasy.
She offers her truth.
She offers her core.
She gives her very heart over and trusts that it will be adored and loved as much as she is loving her mate.
Here her lover will experience what he may never have known existed.
Here her lover may see beauty that only he had read about once upon a time in a poem or fable.
Here he will feel himself,
at a level that he has never tasted before.
And he will find it intoxicating.

Not knowing exactly how he arrived in this strange land of the divine feminine,
he finds himself in a candlelit setting,
a room where his soul has always wanted to be,
but uncertain as to his worthiness of being there,
he may question it or not even truly see where he is at.

As he dances with her,
swimming beside her in these emotions of love and freedom, fire and passion, he fears what he has never tasted before and yet craves for more.
Until he can handle no more.
These waters are strange,
they are dark and light,
he is uncertain at to where the tides will carry him,
and often he chooses to abandon the dance before he is carried too far out from his shore of comfort.
And so,
without even trying he finds himself asking for her depth.
Asking her to reveal more of her beauty.
Asking her to trust him more fully.
To allow him to carry her.
Hold her.
And go deeper.
But doing so as he swims away.
Back further and further he swims.
With each backward stroke he moves himself away.
Wondering why she turns around.
Why her beauty is fading.
Why her truth is harder to hear.
And as they drift apart,
he remembers her not any more as the goddess that opened him to his rapture,
he no longer longs to dive into her waters and explore or caverns of mystery,
he no longer desires to discover what lies beneath and makes her swirl.
No he quickly forgets her mystery.
He looses himself in the comforts of what he had known before.
Where life was just about the shore.
Where he sat and looked out at the waters,
unable to feel them.

And the goddess,
left to drown in her own waters,
seeing the dryness of his shoreline,
realizes how he will never truly be able to hold her.
Never truly be able to carry her heart.
For the sand can never hold water forever.
It can only appear too.
and then it will sink.
Sink into its own space.
And rest there.

The goddess finds herself.
Because this is the only one who can ever hold her.
Who can carry her.
She knows of the beauty of love,
she craves it all the same.
As deeply as the pain may bury itself in her heart,
she knows of its bliss.
She loves its dance.
She will never stop searching the shorelines.

And as these shore’s cut into her waters,
asking for her depth,
wanting her to reveal all the mysteries in freedom to them,
she moves forward,
swallowing them up for moments and sending them back to the land they call home,
leaving them with a faint memory.
A calling from her soul.
And she searches.
Searches for the ONE.
The ONE that can swim in her waters.
The ONE that can watch the sunset and rise on her waters,
bask in her reflection,
never tire of her expanding depth,
never run from her tide pools,
never sink into his fear.

Rare is the man who understands this truth of a woman.

Genital Massage For Cardiovascular Health

tantricloveSensual Tantric Massage for Your Health & Pleasure: 7 Reason’s Why Everyone Should Explore This Ancient Art

Wouldn’t it be amazing if our doctors and psychologists of today actually prescribed Tantra and especially tantric massage for someones mental, emotional and even physical ailments?

Imagine walking into a doctor’s office sharing how much anxiety you are having, how you cannot seem to focus on tasks or keep life in order, how you have sleep issues and your digestion is all messed up. Imagine that your doctor after giving you a check up smiled and said, ” I believe I know something that can help you overcome these issues before they worsen and I am pretty sure you will enjoy this prescription…”

What if you had ADD or ADHD?
Chronic Pain? Irregular Menstrual Cycles?
High Blood Pressure? or Irregular Bowl Syndrome?
Hormone Irregularity? Stress? Premature Ejaculation Issues? Inability to Orgasm? Vaginismus or pain during sex?

What if you were seeking help from a counselor for relationship issues, your inability to connect to your partner or sex addiction?

First one might say “Tantra, isn’t that that thing Sting does that makes him last 7 hours? And does’nt it teach you all these crazy sex positions? Why and how can it help me with my health issues?”

To understand how tantric massage and tantric practices can fully change your life for the better and even help heal you of these and other ailments that are common to our modern day living and society, one must first know what tantra is.

Tantra has been practiced for over 9,000 years. It’s origins have been traced back to the Himalayan Mountains in India, where religious leaders believed that sexual ritual was the path to a higher form of ecstasy and liberation. Through this liberation and discovery and acceptance of pure authentic ecstasy, one learns how to “weave or connect together ALL aspects of life,” from spiritual to psychological, from emotional to scientific, from sexual to the embracing of art, music, and nutrition. Simply put there is NOTHING that is NOT tantric in life. Tantra is learning how to connect the dots and be present and authentic in enjoying the connection.

So what are the core benefits of Tantra and especially Sensual Tantric Massage and even Tantric Sex?

Several recent studies point to benefits of massage therapy that help heal the heart.

In 2008, researchers studied 263 volunteers who had a massage for 45 to 60 minutes. Average blood pressure fell by 10 mg Hg and heart rate by 10 beats per minute after one treatment. That’s about as much as you might get from prescribing a new blood pressure medication for life! (MindBodyGreen)

Now that is just from regular deep tissue massage!

Let’s Talk Sexual Massage… yes I just said sexual massage, so blush if you must but stop hiding that little smirk you have from the thought of having someones hands on your genitals for an extended time and you NOT having to give anything back to them…. Yes it is JUST for you and your HEALTH of course!

But it is NOT just about your genitals… And yet it is. The armouring of them that is…

Erections and wet pussies are just common side effects of tantric massage. There is no expectation or orgasm or climax during a massage.

That may have made your head cock to the side (no pun intended… well maybe no pun intended…) but it is true, the beauty behind this ancient healing art is that there is NO EXPECTATION.

The only focus, objective or desire in this massage is a mind/body connection which happens through the learning of body presence and interconnectedness to all of life. Your practitioner (tantric coach/teacher) does this by being the conduit and providing what is called “Sacred Space or Holding Space.” In this safe enviroment a person relaxes fully. Mind, body and spirit become one and your awareness is focused on ONLY the sensations that arise in your being on every level. I say every level here because it is not uncommon for a client to experience orgasmic sensation without the tradition expected results of ejaculation if you are a man or straight on clitorial or vaginal penetration if you are a woman (although these events may occur). It is also, not uncommon for clients to experience emotional release or even a deep meditational state of being.

So what are the KEY 7 Reasons that Everyone Should Explore This Ancient Body Therapy?

1) Tantric Therapy/Massage or even Sex is good for your hormones! Scientific evidence shows that stress causes cortisol to increase in our bodies. Cortisol does a number on every area of our being, from weight gain, to mood swings. It has been linked to even high blood pressure, impaired cognitive performance and lowered immunity. Basically it is the stress hormone and its not good when we are producing too much. Especially for our cardiovascular health.

2) Tantric Teachings/Massage and Sex improves your breathing, therefore reduces stress, helps improve clarity of mind, increases libido, helps increase stamina, teaches orgasm, and improves overall health and immunity levels. Tantric Massage and Sex acts like other similar sister practices such as yoga, Tai Chi and meditation.

3) Tantric Massage and Sex is first and foremost aimed at your emotional and psychological well-being. There certainly are wonderful physical attributes, you can expect even greater results emotionally though. As you learn to truly receive pleasure, self-esteem and self-worth are heightened, leading to a better overall happiness. You also, learn through the increased emotional awareness and release how to overcome and release past trauma which can help one to overcome such issues as Vaginismus, depression, chronic pain and many other trauma related issues.

4) Tantric Massage and Sex teaches a person(s) how to experience more pleasure by teaching how to release our armouring to pleasure. Often we have been programmed to experience pleasure in only certain ways and for only certain time frames, we then say NO to our selves and to pleasure and block our full life experience. Tantra can teach how to ignite our pleasure zones and embrace all of our orgasmic potential.

5) Tantric Massage and Sex helps a person to become more self-aware and present. Many people experience scattered thinking/mental focus or clarity. This is because many of us have never been taught how to stop worrying about the future or living in the past. tantra teaches us how we can fully anchor ourselves into the present moment where life is lived and healing occur’s.

6) Tantric Massage and Sex help people learn boundaries, connect with desires and curb impulses or addictions. It also helps a person learn how to ask for what they want and become good with the answer they are given. Many people who suffered from an inability to orgasm, had premature ejaculation issues or were addicted to sex or porn even mind altering substances discovered that through tantric work they could overcome these issue by learning presence, breathing and true pleasure techniques.

7) Tantric Massage and Sex is good for your bank account! Yes, sex/sexual touch/ sexual healing and money are deeply intertwined. It is becoming more and more common knowledge that the shame and programs we hold about our sex we also hold similar ones about our ability to make or keep money. Tantric practices teach how we can live an abundant life in ALL ways.

Perhaps now, the childish smirk, the blushing and increased heart beat you may have experienced at the start of this article have been washed away with an inquisitive openness and desire to try a tantric approach to your life.

At very worst case scenario, a Tantric Massage will leave you feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and as a few of my VIP clients have stated, “It is like going on a two week holiday and skipping to the second week when I finally was able to release all my work and responsibility stress and just BREATHE in the pleasure.”

ENJOY and Namaste’

The Eneregtics of Heart Disease

Energetics_heart

Heart disease covers a wide range of conditions from heart attacks, to vascular issues, high blood pressure to strokes. In fact, heart disease is the number 1 killer in many developed nations. There are many promising lifestyle interventions that can help treat heart disease, but it is important to understand the energetics of it as well. We speak of the heart often in emotional terms, because on some level we appreciate that the heart is more than a pump or an organ. In fact, it is the point of intersection that connects us to all living things.

The Biology of Heart Disease

The function of the heart is to move the blood through the body. In this continual transport process the blood delivers much needed oxygen, nutrients and Prana to the body. Over time, with continued vascular constriction, an increase in pressure and workload, the heart is no longer able to satisfy the metabolic requirements of the body. From a purely physiological standpoint, the heart becomes ineffective in energy production, transfer and utilization. Interesting how energy implications exist on every level, however, this isn’t the whole story. While these biological mechanisms play a key role, it in itself does not guaranteed heart disease.

In fact, research has been around for decades that love and social relationships have a protective effect when it comes to heart disease. You can take two evenly matched individuals, with the same background and risk factors with one difference. One has a loving home to go to at the end of the day and the other goes home to an unloving and emotionally toxic environment. The person with the loving home will have a lower incidence of heart disease. As we explore this connection we can begin to understand why the energetics are so important.

Following Your Heart

The brain and the heart interact in a very interesting way. If you were to consider the question, ‘where does emotion reside, in the heart or the brain?’ The answer is both. The heart and the brain are inextricably connected; many of the same neural structures that exist in the brain are also present in the heart. Imagine that emotions are pulses of pure energy that do not originate from the body, but rather sensed by the heart from the outer field of consciousness. The brain then interprets those pulses of energy and assigns judgment based on previous experiences stored in the subconscious.

The emotion itself is a frequency that exists somewhere on a continuum. The reason this is important is that those value judgments change the frequency and coherence of our heart based on the interpretation rendered by our minds. Now what happens if we were to bypass the ego mind or the trickery of the subconscious and just tune into the frequency sensed by the heart? Is this not the source of our pure intuition? Conversely, what effect does it have when we don’t listen to our hearts?

Bringing Down the Vibration

One of the tenants of Energy medicine is that all disease starts out in the energy field first and moves its way toward the body. Once it reaches the body, this is where we begin to see physical manifestations or symptoms. Disease is a result of continued vibration at a less than optimal frequency. So you can imagine there is nothing more detrimental to the heart than thoughts of isolation, jealousy, hostility and loneliness. Remember, if those feelings are a combination of a heart/mind interaction, what role did your subconscious and/or your ego play in the creation of those low vibrational thoughts? When the heart, mind and body are all in alignment that is called Coherence. The heart cannot be in coherence without a loving intention. Research done by HeartMath has shown us that we strive for coherence not only within ourselves, in our relationships, but with the earth as well. So when a person lives out of alignment; a life without joy and purpose or meaningful relationships, you can see that those low vibrational frequencies will weigh heavy on the heart. From an energetic perspective this is the foundation of heart disease.

Are You Creating a Bridge to Nowhere

Coherence between the mind/body and heart cannot be achieved without a heart focus, a conscious breath and a loving intention. In Yoga, breath is the bridge between our conscious and unconscious. It is a union of body, mind and spirit. In Energy medicine, the heart is the bridge between the material and the spiritual. The center of our energy body. When a break down in communication or incongruence exists between our physicality and our spirituality, we limit our ability for coherence and higher vibrational frequencies such as love.

Why Lifestyle Matters

You may ask yourself, why making enduring lifestyle changes can have such a positive impact on the heart, if it is a matter of energetics? The answer is that the lifestyle choices are a matter of energetics as well. One of the best lifestyle choices someone can make is a change in diet. If you look at the energetics of a heart healthy diet, it primarily relies on lighter, higher vibrational foods. Creating a better vibrational match between the food, our bodies and the heart. Whole foods have far more life force in them then processed ones. Since our hearts are connected to the earth, we should also consider the impact of our inhumane methods of food production, which greatly degrades the Earth’s energy field.

Exercise and stress reductions are other important interventions when it comes to heart disease, and there are good energetic reasons for this as well. Exercise can have the most profound impact when it is done mindfully. For example, in exercise physiology, there is something called Steady State. You may have experienced this while running; that zone where you feel like you could run forever. In this state of active coherence there is a perfect balance between our oxygen needs and our demands. We are in perfect alignment in that moment as long as we are mindful. Stress reduction usually revolves around mindful breathing, awareness development and calming the mind. We bring our awareness into the present which mitigates the impact of our mind made anxieties. Anytime we are present we decrease the impact of the ego mind. There is also a commonality that exists amongst all three because by consciously engaging in self-care, there is no higher act of self-love.

Opening the Heart

Being able to give and receive love openly is imperative for the health of the heart. Self-love is where it all has to start. Our hearts cannot be healed, if it holds no love for one’s self. The second quality of an open heart is one that forgives. Anytime we create resistance or congestion with lower vibrational thoughts we move ourselves out of coherence. Acts of service are another way to boost empathy and compassion and it creates an energetic investment that has a very high return. So appreciate your heart as more than a pump and consider the ways in which you can bring more coherence into your life and consciously heal your heart.

Bobcat Under the Dancing Stars

starbrightThe night air was warm and muggy, my flesh felt moist to the touch as the breeze blew across the grasses that lay beside my body.  Starring up into the heavens, begging something in this vast expression of god’s touch to speak to me, to guide me, to make the pain of my heart chakra stop and in the same moment tears of gratitude flooded my eyes and rolled down my cheeks.  As the tears caused distortion to my sight I latched onto one single star in the heavens. It seemed so alone in the night sky.  Alone and yet surrounded by billions of other energy bodies all dancing and flickering happily. This one solo star though radiated stronger then the majority of it relations.  My tears made the stars gleam blur and swim in colors. A beautiful solo dance had manifested itself just for me as I lay there. The universe was speaking as it always does if we are willing to listen. Just like the ocean that carries many stories and yet holds on to none, so was the message of love for me this night.  Love is meant to be ever expanding yet we try and control it, we try and box it up, protect the one’s we love and ourselves from the pain of the beauty of the light of love. When instead what we should be doing is embracing the moments and realizing that each soul that comes into our lives changes us. Quantum physics is discovering that our capacity of our energies to blend with other energies is never ending. As a result we all become a composite of EVERY soul we have ever encountered.  Showing us the importance to surround ourselves with people whose souls will nurture our own.  No man or woman is an island. We have no choice but to absorb the energies of others. It is natural and automatic. Weather you believe in quantum physics or not, just like breathing air.  It leaves us changed forever. OUR personalities are ALWAYS changing depending on who we choose to be around. We are never the same person from moment to moment!

If we were to except our love relationships as larger deposits of energy then a soul that we meet at the gas station or even our next door neighbor we would experience a deeper sense of gratitude for each soul that we chose to open our hearts too. It is these chosen few or many that emboss a new sense of self onto our hearts and souls. Impressions that may last life times.

As we look at the star from my midnight meditation, we see that even stars share energy (light) with one another. No matter how distant apart they are or how solo they may seem. Depending on where we are when we look up into the heavens, their dance speaks to us in different ways, ALWAYS. This universe is alive and conscious.  Our consciousness creates the material world making the universe self-aware. If we open up, as many ancient civilizations did to the Omens that is spirit speaking then we can adjust our consciousness, expand it and learn to be in love with what is instead of trying to dictate what we want. Through embracing our souls, our hearts and the divine flow of life we nurture ourselves, discover a more gentle understanding and can see that in everything there is pain and pleasure.  When we elevate to a point that we are loving the beauty of death and the pain of birth then we can simply breathe and be present in the moment.  This does not mean that we will not experience pain, grief, upset. It does not mean that we will only have bliss in every moment. It just means that we accept and realize that life is always flowing, ever changing, like a river.

As I stared up at this solo star with a smile on my face, tears were cascading down my cheek, my heart pounding as though I had just run a marathon and my hands feeling the beat of mother earth beneath them I remembered a warm summer day when Bobcat appeared to me.

image_BobcatSitting at a park bench with a young man that I had just recently met and found myself connected to instantly, my heart in that moment beating as though I had run a marathon, a smile on my face and the feel of mother earths pulse beneath my bare feet, I breathed in the energies that dance around the two of us. The moment was perfect. And the universe wanted to speak. There upon her flesh she sent a messenger.  In the distance I saw something walking our direction. It was a cat. I pointed to it because it seemed to be too large to be your average house cat but was shocked it could be much else since we were in a large community park just outside of Dallas. He approached confidently and before getting to close yet close enough for us to see the messengers name; he turned to the side revealing that he was Bobcat. ‘OMG! Is that a bobcat?” I said. “Let’s follow him, see where he takes us, what message he has.” This daring man agreed although I am certain he was convinced in this moment I was crazy. Bobcat walked the trail not far in front of us, occasionally stopping to look over his shoulder to see if we were following.  He slinked his swaying body along the tree lined path with us in step. Guiding us back to the car we had come in. Looking back at this Omen I can see now Bobcat’s message.  Similar to the dancing star.  Bobcats are animals of solitude; they walk between the veils of this world and the mystical. They trust their instincts, are willing to take risks, and are quiet and sensitive to their environments. They are mostly isolated but know that they need at times of life companionship. On this day Bobcat was sharing his message. It was time to allow someone into our hearts. Into our energy, our world.

funvidandegopicsfeb11 024Later that day I was surprised by yet another Omen. My beloved house cat of 10 years whom had disappeared almost a year before had suddenly returned home, safe and well.  Ecstatic I shared this message with the man from the park. It was a birth of a new cycle in life. My heart danced at the opportunity and the bliss I felt. Happy in the moment. My being glowed as though I was pregnant and in a way I was. My heart was opening; my soul was healing, my spirit dancing with the stars.  Yet all cycles have a transition point or what we call a death, an end.  Bobcat’s message is a two part one. It is a message of cycles. The acceptance that when the time of companionship is done blossoming, the petals of the flower will wilt and fall back to the earth.  Solitude will again reinstate itself and like the bobcat even though we may feel overwhelmed and sensitive to our new found world and the death of the cycle we must find the courage to do what soul requests. Discovering the beauty in death is the message and still being able to dance under the same starry night sky and be grateful for each breath, the energies exchanged and the love that was embossed upon our hearts.

The Universe speaks. The final Omen of this tale is my beloved house cat. When the dance was over he too parted ways yet again. Sharing the message” Letting go and loving what is is all we can do”.

In the expansion of love, of feeling pleasure, joy and happiness we expand our whole being. Meaning that our vessel will “feel more” of everything. This can be scary for many of us. As whom wants to feel more pain, grief, suffering, anger, etc.  We want to choose what we feel more of. In some ways we can. We do this through our thinking and paying attention to our consciousness and what we are feeling. Inquiry of our thoughts is important.  Discovering what is true in our thinking and what is false.  For example, “He/she does not love me or they would not do this.” Is that true? Can you be certain that they do not love you because they are not acting a certain way? No you cannot.  90% of our thoughts are not even real. They are assumptions based on our programming. They are our ego causing doubt, fear, and distortion of the truth. If we can learn to separate our thoughts from our feelings (which they are VERY separate, we just bulk them together) then we can  have greater certainty in what we are to do in life and what will make us happy.

At the end of your days when we are breathing in your final moments here on this planet, in this body what will you wish for? Will you be full of regrets? Will you look back at your life, your loved ones, all that you accomplished or did not accomplish and have peace in your soul? Will your soul say I lived this life, I loved deeply in this life, and I risked everything and cherished every breath taking moment? I expanded and pushed my boundaries, saw my divinity and danced openly in moments of bliss and pain. I allowed my heart to be revealed my spirit to speak and I listened to the wisdom of my body, the feelings of my heart and the Omens of the Universe. I have no regrets.

What will your soul song be on your last day?

What magnificent men we can be! — by Jonti Searll

What magnificent men we can be!

An important aspect of the journey for almost every woman who comes to share a healing journey with us, is reclaiming her Yoni. Establishing a relationship and taking back a part of herself, that was mostly separate from the rest of her being.

This is very different from men’s relationship with their Lingam (Penis), so I always thought. Last week, I had a revelation about this. Men don’t have an emotional relationship with their Lingam. The connection is functional, at best it includes a level of pleasure which is mostly external, and is filled with “Macho Mythology”. This relationship is also and often run through with anxiety and fear.

It’s true that through sheer body geography men have a more direct and easier relationship with their genitals. We touch it more in the course of a day, in ways that have nothing to do with sex. It’s external, more visible than a Yoni. We see it, we’re aware of it.

Intellectually aware, recognition aware.
Not emotionally aware.

For most men, sex is a genital experience. It’s body limited, all the sensation is in the Lingam and the pelvis. Occasionally there’s a heart connection, but that’s external. That’s the connection with a partner.

But it’s not with my own heart. There’s no tenderness, there’s no gentleness, there’s no sensuality in terms of My Self, and My Lingam. Me as a sexual and sensual being in my own right.

The ownership is goal oriented, erection and orgasm. Which is functional.
We’ve made it emotional by saying that when we’ve done that, when we’ve achieved that, that’s the sexual expression of being a man fulfilled.

The fear and anxiety of size, performance and pressure to please a partner is all directed outwards. We haven’t taken emotional ownership of ourselves as sexual beings.

The impact of this, is limitation, severe limitation of our feelings, our sensations, and our experiences. Full body orgasms, multiple orgasms, expanded orgasmic states, Lingam Heart opening, Slow Union, melting orgasms, sexual meditation, all of these are inaccessible. They’re for women, and a few weird Tantric dudes.

We can have so much more, much deeper, more satisfying and more fulfilling experiences. For Ourselves. We can know much more of ourselves, express and experience more of ourselves. Which allows us to share more with our partners.
Which allows what’s between us, what we touch, feel and share, to expand.
For there to be more between us, because there’s more within us.

What magnificent men we can be!
